George Schlagmüller is a founding partner of Belvalor AG, which he co-founded with Thomas von Rohr in 2010. George Schlagmüller is an international financial advisor with more than 35 years of experience, holding senior positions at private banks and investment houses in London, New York and Zurich. With an Executive MBA in International Wealth Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Geneva, as well as various training in finance and tax matters, George Schlagmüller has a deep understanding of the needs of our international clientele. As a balance to his demanding job, he is passionate about wind- and kitesurfing during the summer months, while in winter, he enjoys skiing either alpine or cross-country. He is married and has an adult daughter.

Thomas von Rohr co-founded Belvalor AG with George Schlagmüller in 2010. With over 30 years of experience in the international wealth management industry, he has held senior positions as an equity analyst in New York and Zurich. For the past two decades, Thomas von Rohr has served his clients in German, English and French, with proficiency in Italian and Spanish as well. Leveraging his extensive expertise, he actively contributes as a board member and investment specialist across various institutions. Thomas von Rohr holds an academic degree in Business Economics, is a federally certified financial analyst and asset manager, as well as a financial and investment expert. Outside of his professional endeavors, he finds solace in nature, enjoys skiing and is an avid endurance athlete. He is married and has three adult sons.

Marco Rubli joined Belvalor in 2023 after many years in Private Banking roles for both large and private banks. Prior to joining Belvalor, he oversaw the investment business of an independent asset manager in Zurich. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics in Portugal and has pursued further education to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Outside of work, Marco Rubli is an avid cyclist, passionate cross-country skier, and takes a keen interest in topics related to the sustainable development of the financial industry.

Andreas Müller joined Belvalor at the beginning of 2024, assuming responsibility for research activities and stock selection. With 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Andreas Müller began his career as a successful fund manager and equity analyst for internationally renowned banks in Zurich, New York, and London. Later, he served as an equity analyst at Zürcher Kantonalbank. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Zurich and holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Andreas has developed his own asset allocation and valuation models, which he integrates into our investment process. In his leisure time, Andreas Müller enjoys cycling, skiing, and swimming.

Ken Burri joined Belvalor in 2023 and is concurrently pursuing a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. He supports the team in conducting company analyses and client management. In his spare time, Ken Burri enjoys traveling the world or spending his free hours on the tennis court or at the gym.

Isabelle Sovilla has been with Belvalor since 2015 and has been active in the financial industry for over three decades. Formerly a precious metals and coin trader at Credit Suisse First Boston, she has a flair for languages and oversees the marketing and communication activities of our company. In her leisure time, Isabelle Sovilla enjoys exploring the world, satisfying her curiosity through reading, attending events and courses, or simply enjoying sunny days with her family.
